Kubek has always stood out from the crowd. At age 22, when many people have scarcely begun to vote, Ron was running for city council in his home town of Sidney. Not only was he elected, but he earned a reputation as a man of integrity and conviction.

Always one to “call things the way they are,” his straightforward approach and hard work on initiatives to boost the local economy—including a new 350-berth town-owned marina with upland development and a new whale museum—contributed to his re-election two years later.

Those who’ve worked with Ron, whether during his days as an alderman or through his many other community involvements, know him as someone who does what it takes to get the job done. “My children are the most important people in my life,” he says. “-I strive to make sure that everything I do and every decision I make is what’s best for them as well.”

Debra is our Sales Manager and Ron’s partner at Keller Williams Realty West. Her upbeat personality, keen devotion to customer service and 27 years of sales experience make her a valuable member of the Kubek Team.

Debra began her real estate career in Vancouver in 1991 and moved to Sidney in 1994 to be closer to her family. She immediately joined Ron as a Buyer Specialist and they soon became the number one team on Vancouver Island.

In 1998 after the birth of her daughter Alex, Debra took a sabbatical to be a stay-at- home mom and has since returned to the Kubek Team.

Her commitment to her clients and love of real estate show in her day-to-day dealings with everyone she meets.

Julie brings over 8 years of experience to her position - experience that covers everything from administration, project management, training to supervision in a large brokerage firm. A paragon of efficiency and organization, Julie is a key player within Ron Kubek''s Team - not to mention one of the friendliest people you''ll ever meet! Julie is a strong believer in holding ones own identity and making it an identity to be proud of. Julie''s motto is "Action speaks louder than words."

Melissa has been working in Real Estate since 2004 having a myriad of different responsibilities and has now settled herself as a Buyer's Agent for the Kubek Team.

Melissa was born and raised on the Peninsula, playing baseball every summer at Rom Knott Park, being the first ever grade 7 class at Bayside Middle School and even graduating from Stelly’s High School in 1998. The Peninsula is definitely Melissa’s second home! After graduating, Melissa has consistently worked on the peninsula doing many different professions. She enjoys working with the people in her community and being apart of one of the biggest days of your life, buying or selling your home.

Melissa is an integral part of the Team with her friendly manner, outgoing personality and willingness to help make her a pleasure to work with.

Bobbi has worked with the Kubek Team since 1999. She worked as a nurse for 11 years and was looking for a big change, that landed her here. She works part-time with the Kubek Team assisting Ron and working on direct marketing programs.

Her home life is busy raising three small children with her husband and always renovating her home.
